RhondaMonday - Jun 2, 2008Just wanted to let you know that I truly enjoyed my stay at the Austin
Folkhouse this weekend. I was in town for the World Wellness Weekend
event at the Convention Center, and when I was planning my trip and
considering lodging I wasn't all that impressed with the standard hotels
in the area. I went online and came across several listings for Austin
B&Bs, and yours was the one that captured my attention. It's not always easy to tell how well you'll like a place just by checking it out on the internet, but I'm so glad I took a chance! I'll definitely be visiting Austin Folkhouse again, and recommending it to friends!
Melissa MoonMonday - Feb 19, 2007I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to send a quick note to thank you and your staff for a wonderful job in providing accommodations to our out-of-town conference attendees. The attendees truly enjoyed their stay and commented that the service was excellent, the atmosphere charming, and breakfast was fabulous (they really raved about the chef)!

We look forward to housing future out-of-town guests at The Austin Folk House.
Paul WilsonSaturday - Feb 17, 2007Thanks for a lovely stay. You have a superior B&B, and you should
seriously thinking of calling yourselves The Four Stars of Texas.

DavidTuesday - Oct 3, 2006Hello Austin Folk House,

The purpose of this message is to throw a few kudos your way…

I stayed at the Austin Folk House, room 5, on Saturday, September 30th,

You guys have a great place. Starting with the initial call, that Chris picked-up, to quickly getting setup in the room, ease of parking, the great breakfast that Grit (sp?) pulled together (dig the quiche and raspberry stuffed French toast)… to the cup of coffee (in a to-go cup… very helpful since 6th St. was not kind… the previous night)…

You guys Rock!

I look forward to staying at AFH or your other places during my next trip to Austin .

Peace,

David

PS: Tell Chris “hey.”
